The Thyme Archives is a specialized digital repository and historical database dedicated to the preservation of early-internet practices, culinary traditions, and how humans adapted to the World Wide Web. Established in the early 21st century, the archives serve as a central hub for researchers and historians.
History
The concept for the Thyme Archives originated from a collaborative effort between digital archivists and the desire to continue preservation of the "simplicity and timelessness" of the early WWW. The project was launched following the discovery of several detailed resources* detailing the hidden community of everyday people recording their lives on the Internet, in their own unique and irreplacable way.
